Mobtown Brewing

Mobtown Brewing Company, founded in 2019 by friends David Carpenter, Darren Stimpfle, and Noah Chadwick, revived Baltimore’s historic Brewers Hill neighborhood with its opening—the area’s first brewery in 41 years. Located in a restored 1920s industrial building, Mobtown blends sustainable design with creative brewing, using upcycled materials and a community-focused approach. The name “Mobtown” nods to Baltimore’s spirited history of civic protest. The brewery crafts adventurous beers from crisp lagers to hazy IPAs and hosts trivia nights, yoga sessions, and live music, making it a welcoming local hub for craft beer culture and neighborhood pride.
