Monument City Brewing

Monument City Brewing Company, founded by brothers Ken and Matt Praay in 2013, is a family-owned craft brewery located in Baltimore’s Highlandtown neighborhood. Inspired by a hike along the Appalachian Trail, the idea of Monument City was built on values of honesty, hard work, and community. The brewery opened its doors in 2017 in a restored 1901 industrial building, quickly becoming known for high-quality, balanced beers like 51 Rye, Penchant Pils, and Resonator IPA. With its spacious taproom, pet- and family-friendly vibe, and commitment to local partnerships, Monument City embodies Baltimore’s neighborhood-driven craft beer culture.
