Ministry of Brewing

Ministry of Brewing, located in the historic St. Michael’s Church in Baltimore’s Washington Hill neighborhood, opened in 2020 as one of Maryland’s most architecturally stunning breweries. The soaring 53-foot ceilings, stained-glass windows, and repurposed pew seating create a space that marries sacred history with craft beer culture. Known for 30+ rotating drafts, Ministry offers traditional and experimental brews, often complemented by local food trucks and community events. The brewery emphasizes education, sustainability, and inclusivity, functioning as both a gathering place and a cultural landmark that celebrates the city’s deep brewing and architectural heritage.
