M8 Beer (pronounced “Mate”) is Baltimore’s only Australian-style craft brewery, located in the city’s Federal Hill neighborhood. Founded in 2023, it combines Aussie pub culture with Charm City energy, serving brews made with Australian hops like Galaxy and Vic Secret. The brewery offers a full kitchen, inspired by down-under favorites, plus an inviting taproom known for live events, trivia, and Ravens game days. M8’s beers emphasize sessionable styles, crisp flavors, and eco-friendly brewing. Family- and pet-friendly, the brewery’s motto “Everyone’s Our Mate” captures its relaxed and welcoming vibe in South Baltimore’s growing craft beer scene.
