Mayan Monkey Brewing Co. is a vibrant brewery and restaurant in the heart of Gaithersburg, Maryland, inspired by the flavors and culture of Mexico. Opened in 2024 in the former Growlers space, it offers handcrafted beers brewed on-site along with a full menu of fresh, innovative Mexican cuisine. The brewery’s signature beers—like Chula, a light Mexican lager, and El Mateo, a hazy pale ale—complement food favorites such as tacos, nachos, and churros. With three bars, live Latin and rock music, and a relaxed family-friendly vibe, Mayan Monkey blends culinary authenticity with modern craft brewing creativity.
