Liquidity Aleworks (often referred to as “Liquidity Brewing”) is a family-friendly craft brewery located in downtown Mount Airy, Maryland. Housed in a restored 1930s bank building at 8 N Main Street, it features a welcoming taproom and patio, and offers a wide variety of beer styles—from crisp lagers and vibrant IPAs to rich stouts and fruity seltzers. Their ethos centers on offering “something for everyone” and creating a community-gathering spot. Liquidity embraces local roots, creativity in brewing, and a laid-back atmosphere ideal for regulars and visitors alike.

  • Monday–Thursday: 3 pm – 9 pm 

  • Friday–Saturday: 12 pm – 10 pm

Maryland Beer Journal & Atlas (MBJA) was established to promote Maryland beer — the beer, the people, and the places. I began writing about my beer experiences through the Deep Beer Journal (DBJ) in February 2013. Currently, I am a first-level Cicerone, studying to advance my certification. I am a member of the North American Guild of Beer Writers. Since 2019, I have been the Maryland columnist for the Mid-Atlantic Brew News.
