Maryland Beer Journal & Atlas
Beer Across The Free State
Maryland Beer Journal & Atlas (MBJA) — Our purpose is in our name — only Maryland, only beer. We tell the stories of the people and places that make Maryland beer unique. Maryland traverses many landscapes, from the Atlantic Ocean to the Appalachian Mountains, Baltimore, Chesapeake Bay, historic small towns, and all points in between. And the beer is as diverse as the landscapes.
Prairie Ales
Boulevard Brewing has been a legendary brewery to ever since I first tasted their Tank 7 American Saison Ale. During my travels to the Midwest, I was able to taste some very good beer and experience the prairie landscapes, towns and good folk.
These are a few of my favorite things
While many beers are available year round, there are many beers that are only available during certain times of year. I'm glad there are. These are the special bottles that have seasons and tradition. These build on a sense of expectation — like a child’s Christmas morning only for adults, with anticipation and excitement.

The Beers of Our Life
Pick a beer for the end of a life, an end of a meal, an end of a day, an end of a relationship. So happy or sad, or something between.

Stout Season
When the days grow short and a nip comes to the air, summer’s days have past and give way to autumn. And with this season comes many favorite things — the brilliant colors of the maples, sweaters, and stouts.

SAVOR 2018: Notes and Observations
I love the Brewer's Association event SAVOR. The event is known as "An American Craft Beer & Food Experience”. Because of the the diversity of beer and their sources, it is my favorite beer event each year. Wherever you are in the world, you should make an effort to attend and here is why.

Beer Obscura
As you can imagine, as with any topic you choose there will be odd and interesting places, events and stories to be told. Here are a few from the Atlas Obscura website, with a beer theme.
