B.C. Brewery is a lively craft brewery and taproom in Hunt Valley that emphasizes community, variety and accessibility. Opened in 2018, they boast Maryland’s first self-serve beer walls (48 taps) so visitors pour by the ounce and explore a broad array of styles, including dedicated gluten-free production. With two on-site brewhouses, a full kitchen, cornhole lanes, darts, live music and dog-friendly indoor/outdoor spaces, it’s designed for both beer enthusiasts and casual hangouts. Their motto “Building a Community through Beer” guides their programming, food pairing and inclusive atmosphere.

Maryland Beer Journal & Atlas (MBJA) was established to celebrate and promote Maryland beer — the beer, the people, and the places. I began writing about my beer experiences through the Deep Beer Journal (DBJ) in February 2013. Currently, I am a first-level Cicerone, studying to advance my certification.
