Rockwell Brewery is a dynamic craft brewery in Frederick, Maryland, combining artisan beer, live events, and community energy. Originally opened in downtown Frederick in 2017, Rockwell expanded with a Riverside location in 2023 to increase capacity and host larger gatherings. Their taprooms offer a rotating lineup of beers—from IPAs to stouts—alongside food truck partnerships and musical performances. With a philosophy rooted in craftsmanship, local pride, and hospitality, Rockwell continues to be a flagship destination for beer lovers throughout Maryland’s craft brewing scene.

Maryland Beer Journal & Atlas (MBJA) was established to celebrate and promote Maryland beer — the beer, the people, and the places. I began writing about my beer experiences through the Deep Beer Journal (DBJ) in February 2013. Currently, I am a first-level Cicerone, studying to advance my certification. I am a member of the North American Guild of Beer Writers. Since 2019, I have been the Maryland columnist for the Mid-Atlantic Brew News.
