National Brewing

National Premium is a historic Maryland beer brand originally created by the National Brewing Company of Baltimore in the early 20th century. Known for a lighter, upscale alternative to National Bohemian, National Premium became a staple in the region before being phased out after several corporate ownership changes in the 1970s. Revived in recent years by Tim Miller, National Premium Beer is now contract-brewed to preserve the classic taste and legacy. As of 2025, it does not operate its own brewery or taproom, instead focusing on distribution through retailers and restaurants across Maryland and beyond.
