Double Groove Brewing Company is a craft brewery and taproom located in Forest Hill, Maryland, founded by four friends who combined their passions for brewing and classic rock vinyl. The brewery is named after a rare vinyl record feature where two different grooves play different tracks, mirroring the brewery’s rotating selection of finely crafted beers. The team, including professionals with backgrounds in biology, business, and finance, focuses on providing a sensory-rich experience with quality brews ranging from IPAs to experimental styles. The taproom features a retro setting with vibrant album art and hosts live music and trivia nights, fostering a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

Maryland Beer Journal & Atlas (MBJA) was established to celebrate and promote Maryland beer — the beer, the people, and the places. I began writing about my beer experiences through the Deep Beer Journal (DBJ) in February 2013. Currently, I am a first-level Cicerone, studying to advance my certification. I am a member of the North American Guild of Beer Writers. Since 2019, I have been the Maryland columnist for the Mid-Atlantic Brew News.
