Bayheads Brewing Company is a craft brewery in Chesapeake City, Maryland, founded in 2016 by lifelong friends who grew up around the Chesapeake Bay.  Their name nods to “bayheads,” people familiar with the bay lifestyle.  The taproom features a full bar, rotating beer selection, a crush bar, and food delivered from the Chesapeake Inn.  After relocating and renovating, the brewery reopened in 2023 at 401 2nd Street in historic downtown Chesapeake City.

  • Monday & Tuesday: Closed

  • Wednesday: 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm

  • Thursday: 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm

  • Friday & Saturday: 12:00 pm – 12:00 am

  • Sunday: 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm

I began writing about my beer experiences through the Deep Beer Journal (DBJ) in February 2013. Currently, I am a first-level Cicerone, studying to advance my certification. I am a member of the North American Guild of Beer Writers. Since 2019, I have been the Maryland columnist for the Mid-Atlantic Brew News.
