Jailbreak Brewing Co. (aka Jailbreak Foodworks & Brewing) is a full-service brewery and restaurant in Laurel, Maryland. Since opening in 2014, it has grown from a small pilot setup to a production brewery with an expansive taproom and a culinary program called FoodWorks. The brewery produces a wide variety of styles, and the kitchen features dry-aged meats, house-made pizza, and local ingredients. With its fusion of beer, dining, and immersive experience, Jailbreak stands out as a destination for both craft beer enthusiasts and food lovers alike.

I began writing about my beer experiences through the Deep Beer Journal (DBJ) in February 2013. Currently, I am a first-level Cicerone, studying to advance my certification. I am a member of the North American Guild of Beer Writers. Since 2019, I have been the Maryland columnist for the Mid-Atlantic Brew News.
