Chesepiooc Brewing

Chesepiooc Real Ale Brewery, located in Crofton, Maryland, is a small-batch, veteran-owned craft brewery known for its innovative and ever-changing tap list. Established in 2018, the brewery specializes in real ales, cask-conditioned beers, and a wide range of rotating styles—from hazy IPAs and porters to fruited sours and experimental brews. Chesepiooc [chess-uh-pee-auck] comes from the Algonquian language, perhaps meaning or referring to “village at a big river” or "great shellfish bay", and reflects its regional pride through community events, live music, and collaborations with local businesses. The family- and dog-friendly taproom offers a relaxed setting with food trucks, outdoor seating, and a welcoming atmosphere for craft beer enthusiasts of all kinds.
