Flood Zone Brewery & Co. is a family-owned craft brewery located in historic Union Bridge, Maryland. Opened in 2018, it has quickly become a community hub offering a wide range of handcrafted beers—from crisp lagers and juicy IPAs to dark stouts and seasonal specialties. Maryland Beer Journal & Atlas (MBJA) was established to promote Maryland beer — the beer, the people, and the places. I began writing about my beer experiences through the Deep Beer Journal (DBJ) in February 2013. Currently, I am a first-level Cicerone, studying to advance my certification.
