Brewery Fire

Brewery Fire is a community-focused microbrewery and taproom located at 4337 Old Taneytown Road in Taneytown, MD. Known for its geek culture aesthetic, it combines creative craft beers with a welcoming, intimate vibe  . Founded by brewer Jesse Johnson, the brewery emphasizes local ingredients—such as honey, rhubarb, lavender, and pumpkins—and small-batch flavor over scale. The taproom serves as a cultural hub, hosting events like trivia nights, open mic, and fundraisers, and is decorated with murals rich in hidden “Easter eggs” celebrating nerdy themes.
