The Brewer’s Art

The Brewer’s Art closed permanently in February 2026, after 30 years. It was a renowned brewpub and restaurant located in a historic early 20th-century townhouse in Baltimore’s Mt. Vernon district, opened in 1996. Known for its Belgian-inspired ales, including favorites like Resurrection Abbey Brown Ale and Bird House Pale Ale, it combined craft brewing with upscale New American cuisine. The venue featured ornate woodwork, cozy fireplaces, and a multi-level space integrating brewing areas and elegant dining rooms. It was celebrated for its rich history, quality beers, and relaxing atmosphere, welcoming both locals and visitors seeking a distinctive Baltimore brewing experience.
