Sandbox Brewhouse (often called “The Sandbox”) is a family-operated brewery and community space in downtown Frederick, Maryland.  It occupies a former industrial location and features an industrial-chic aesthetic, indoor and patio seating, food trucks, and a focus on events (board game nights, open mic, trivia).  The brewery emphasizes local collaboration, rotational beer releases, and a dog-friendly atmosphere.

  • Monday: 4:00 pm – 10:00 pm (Happy Hour until 6 pm) 

  • Tuesday: Closed 

  • Wednesday: 3:00 pm – 10:00 pm 

  • Thursday–Friday: 3:00 pm – 10:00 pm 

  • Saturday: 12:00 pm – 10:00 pm 

  • Sunday: 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm
