Max's Taphouse Announces Hopfest 2026: Three Days, 50+ Specialty IPAs, and One of the Largest Hop Celebrations in the Region
BALTIMORE, MD: Hop lovers, mark your calendars. Max's Taphouse, widely recognized as one of the premier beer destinations in the United States, is bringing back its annual Hopfest from Friday, August 14 through Sunday, August 16, 2026. The three-day celebration will transform the legendary Fells Point beer bar into a showcase of the hoppiest, freshest, and most sought-after beers available.
Featuring more than 50 specialty kegs of IPAs, Double IPAs, and Triple IPAs, Hopfest offers guests the opportunity to explore an incredible range of hop-forward styles from hazy and juicy New England IPAs to crisp West Coast classics and bold, intensely bitter offerings.

Admission: Free (21+)
Guests can sample beers in 5-ounce and 10-ounce pours or enjoy full 14-ounce drafts. On Friday from 5 to 8 pm, Max's popular BIG A$$ DRAFTS return, featuring select beers served in 32-ounce pours for just $8.
While hops take center stage, they won't be the only stars of the weekend. Max's will continue pouring 50+ additional draft beers spanning lagers, wheat beers, porters, stouts, sours, ciders, and more. With 115 rotating draft lines and an inventory of more than 1,000 bottles and cans, visitors will find one of the most comprehensive beer selections anywhere in the country.
Guests who prefer to enjoy the festival from home can take advantage of 32-ounce draft twistee can fills available for carryout throughout the weekend.
Guests can also enjoy Max's regular weekly lineup of free entertainment, including Karaoke (every Friday & Saturday beginning at 9:30pm) and Comedy Night (every Saturday at 8:00 pm).
